These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the KidLime mobile application (the “App”), website, and related digital services (collectively, the “Services”). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. If you are under 18 (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction), your parent or legal guardian must accept these Terms on your behalf.
“KidLime”, “we”, or “us” refers to the legal entity operating the Services. “You” means the user. These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict, the more specific or latest published version prevails.
The Services may include activities, games, stories, audio content, blogs, and other features. Everything is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features or content with or without prior notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The App may be designed for child users. The parent or guardian responsible for the device is responsible for the accuracy of information provided and for ensuring use is appropriate for the child’s age. We are not liable for false or misleading onboarding information.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted; all rights not expressly granted are reserved.
You must not, including but not limited to:
We may suspend or terminate access, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe a violation has occurred.
The App, trademarks, logos, text, graphics, audio, video, software, and all content are owned by KidLime or licensors. Unauthorised use may violate civil and criminal law. You obtain no ownership rights by using the Services.
Features that use artificial intelligence or third-party APIs (e.g. story suggestions) are for entertainment only. We do not warrant accuracy, completeness, or suitability. You assume risks arising from use of generated content.
The App may display ads and/or offer in-app purchases or subscriptions. Payments and refunds are governed by the applicable platform (e.g. Apple App Store) policies. We are not responsible for the platform’s billing processes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KidLime disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Content is not a substitute for professional advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KidLime and its suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use or inability to use the Services. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or zero if the Services are free). Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected where they cannot be waived.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KidLime and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Services at any time. You may stop using the App by uninstalling it. Data stored locally is removed when the App is deleted; limited server-side processing is described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes may be communicated in-app or on the website. Continued use may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
If you obtain the App from the Apple App Store, Apple’s applicable terms also apply. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. These Terms are between you and KidLime only, not Apple.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts and enforcement offices in Türkiye shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence where applicable.
If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains in effect (severability). Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and KidLime regarding the subject matter and supersede prior oral or written agreements on the same subject.
