Small Help from the Little Ones
🤝✨ Small Help from Little Ones ✨🤝
Mert was an active 8-year-old boy who loved to play. Meeting his friends in the park after school was his favorite thing. One day, they were playing ball in the park again. Everyone was having a great time. Just then, Mert’s friend Ali tripped over a stone while running and fell to the ground. “Ah!” Ali shouted. The ball suddenly stopped. The children looked at each other. Mert hesitated for a moment. “Should we continue?” he thought. But then he looked at Ali’s face. He was in pain.
🌿 Mert immediately ran to him. “Are you okay?” he asked. Ali was holding his knee. “It hurts a little…” he said. Mert reached out his hand: “Come on, let me help you get up.” Ali took Mert’s hand and slowly stood up. ✨ At that moment, the other children also came over. “Let’s get some water!” one said. “Let’s sit on the bench,” said another. Mert took Ali by the arm and led him to the bench. One friend brought water, another gave a tissue. Ali started to smile a little while later. “Thank you,” he said. “I feel better now.”
🌟 Mert felt warm inside. At that moment, he realized that helping felt even better than playing. After a while, the game started again. But this time, everyone was more careful with each other.
🌳 The next day at school, their teacher started an activity: “This week is ‘helping week’. Everyone will help someone and share their experience.” Mert immediately thought: “I helped yesterday!” But then he realized… Helping wasn’t just something to do for one day; it was something that could be done every day.
✨ That day, he helped a friend who was struggling to carry his backpack at school. On the way home, he carried bags for an elderly neighbor. He supported his mother while setting the table. Each time he helped, he felt a little happier inside.
🌿 At the end of the week, their teacher asked: “How did helping make you feel?” Mert raised his hand: “It feels like your heart is growing,” he said. His classmates smiled.
🌟 His teacher nodded: “Because helping not only benefits the person we help but also us.” That day, Mert learned something very important: Helping didn’t have to be a big thing… Sometimes, even a small support made a big difference.
✨🤝 And from that day on, whenever Mert saw someone in need, he said to himself: “I’m here.” 🌟 Because when small hands come together… great kindnesses emerge.
